I honestly thought this one would be much easier than the one of Lady GaGa, considering the distinctive lack of diamonds and glitter, but oh no. That mouth... that mouth! I must have repainted it a billion of times before I was pleased. =_=;;

But it's a very pretty mouth, so it deserves some extra attention.

BD Wong as Father Ray Mukada from Oz; an amazing tv show that I absolutely love. Some of you might recognise him from Law & Order SVU where he plays George Huang.

(Yes, I am in fact in a certain portait-drawing phase right now, it's a very serious condition and can last up to several months if one is very unlucky.)

Oh my goodness, it's Wong! Oh he has such a special place in my heart. Not only is he Dr. Huang, BUT he was also one of the badass dino engineers in Jurassic Park and that gives him top-10 priority on the "badass" scale. Haha.

Wonderful job on this. I like the borders on the side, it brings the piece together very nicely.

He's got a very special place in my heart as well, and I wish he would get some role that would allow him to show his full potential as an actor, not just small side roles.

The same thing happened to me when I watched Jurassic Park after having an SVU marathon. I had to rewind it a few times because I couldn't believe it. Now I see him on tv and I hear, "Because all the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are female..." Oh I just love him. I agree that he should get bigger roles because he's definitely memorable in his small ones.

I just always wonders if he gets eaten or not

(Bc I'm the type who always worries about all the minor people around the main characters, since nobody else seems to)

Haha I agree. I wondered that too! Really. But I think he was safe because the park went down after the last boat to the mainland had left. So only those people were left. Yeah, I know my Jurassic Park.

You are crazy talented. This is a beautiful portrait, and again of an actor on a series I love (although, I love him on SVU).

I really like how you used the shading in this to not only give depth but heighten the sort of softness that Wong has. Bravo.
